BUT JOINT WORKTOPS

I have to fit solid beech wortops, the advice is to but joint, does this mean i only need to route out the jointing bolts and biscuite joint?
what size biscuits should I use?

hi

if the tops do not have a preformed edge then but jointing is the advisable method, worktop bolts and biscuits r they way to go,although some fitters would argue that the biscuits arnt really necessary! if you do use them then you should use no20s. be aware tho that if the tops dont have a pre formed edge then ul have to form one youself with a router,think carefully how you go about it because there may be parts that you wont be able to reach once the tops r in situe so ul have to do that before theyre fitted and then do the rest after the tops r connected!
