Replacing rotten joist in bathroom

Hi, due to a leaky shower both the floorboards beneath and the final metre of the joist(Main Beam) have rotted.

I've screwed a piece of wood to the outer wall and am planning on attaching a similar sized piece of wood to this to act as a replacement joist. With this in place and the support of the crossbeam, do you think it will be strong enough to have the shower placed back on top?

I've tried to explain this a best I can, but if you have any questions just ask.

Cheers

Wooderson,
Fix the wall plate to the wall using coach screws which go about 75mm into the wall, extend the joists by bolting new pieces with a good overlap using timber connectors and bolts to clamp them together, uses joist hangers to fit the extended joist to the wall plate.
