Suspended ceiling

i would like to install a suspended ceiling in a room in my house,(but the room has a steeple top ceiling) the ceiling i want is the one that hangs of a wire attached to the beams and hangs down to give you a flat suspended ceiling.if any one has any idea on the way to go about installing one and the meterials required please could you inform me.thanks

hi saaj

british gypsum (along with all the other dry-lining associated companies) used to have a guide they called "the white book". it invaluble for the types of job youre looking at doing, gives you full instructions, lists of materials (including codes) and also has ready reckoners so you can work out precisely how many materials youll need for any given area of wall / ceiling etc...

suggest you go to their website and buy / request / download one! as for the mats themselves, jewsons used to stock all their products for dry lining / stud walling / suspended ceilings etc..
