Warped Solid Oak Windows in Attic - Should They be Doing This?

My 3 month old solid oak attic windows have cracked a lot of the glazing units, none of them will open now, and they are letting in water. The manufacturer said it's because they are oak and we'll have to just let the wood dry out then repair the glass etc. Am I being fobbed off? Should solid oak windows not last for like 60 years, they are starting to look bad already.....

It doesn't sound like this product is fit for purpose, from what you say. It would be interesting to see some photographs (you can add them to this post).
If you name the manufacturer/installer we can alert them to this post and get their response publicly and explain their stance. Failing that you can contact FENSA, which is the body to self-regulate the industry and will be able to guide you about your rights and how to address your greviance:
