Removing Metal Feet from Base of Legs on Wooden Chair

Hi, I want to remove some metal studs from the bottom of some old chairs I recently bought as I'm worried they will scratch my wooden floors.

I tried putting felt stickers on them, but some of them came off. The better option is to remove them altogether. I tried a hacksaw at a couple of angles but they are pretty solid. I can't seem to wedge anything under them either to leverage them off. Not really sure how they are fixed on and want to avoid unnecessary damage to the chair.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I solved this myself. I realised that these were hollow not solid after trawling the internet, so I drilled a whole in them and levered them off with a screw driver. Simples.
