Flush Mounting a Kitchen Sink in a Solid Wooden Walnut Worktop?

Hi there,
I'm planning to replace my kitchen counters with a solid walnut (staves) worktop and a new sink
I like the look of flush-mounted sinks and the worktop seller says they can CNC the hole to fit a sink this way but I wasn't sure if this is a good idea?
Given the fine tolerance for the edge with flush-mounting could this cause problems down the road if the wood warps or expands through moisture?
Or am I worrying too much?
Any help or experiences welcome!
Thanks in advance
Nick
