Remove and Re-Install Tongue and Groove in bathroom

by edg » Tue Dec 29, 2015 7:35 am

Hi,

I have a faulty bathroom pipe which goes into painted tongue and groove panels. I'm looking for the best way to remove the panels so that I'm able to slip them back again once the pipe has been replaced.

I was thinking of running a blade down the joins to (hopefully) cut through the paint but what's the best way to take the panels off? I'm assuming they're going to be nailed in, if so, won't prying them off break the tongues off?

Thanks for any tips :)
