Wanting to Install a Pocket Door and Advice Needed

As a beginner DIY'er I don't know whether to buy the stuff separately to buy a kit from coburn or these guys http://www.rocketpocketdoors.co.uk. Is building a pocket door from scratch a 'beginner project' or something for a more experienced DIY'er?
