I have 20 or 22mm t&g wooden floor to fit ontop of old marble tiles but there is no t&g on each end.
Should i glue it down straight onto the tiles or put underlay down and leave it floating?

Thanks in advance

Ok thanks

Will i need to leave a permanent expansion gap around the perimeter under the skirting board?

Also the ends are not t&g will they not lift if not glued down?

yes a 10mm gap is required for expansion, a timber bead tacked to the skirting will keep the floor down

Will the skirting board not keep the boards down?

If i tack corner bead to the floor and the skirt will that not stop the floor from expanding and buckle the boards?

if your laying the floor and then fixing the skirting on top of it, then no beading is required
