Painted new Fascia Board Accidentally With PVA

Ok, you’ll get a laugh from this but I’ve just had a new bit of outdoor fascia board fitted and painted a coat of primer on. Went to put the second coat of primer on and used Unibond PVA adhesive. The tins were nearly identical as was the thickness. I need to apply gloss.
To correct, I’m aiming to scrape & sand it off then repaint with primer & gloss leaving the PVA well away.
Anything else I should do to remedy this other than giving myself a slap?
