Rustic Framed Ledged and Braced Internal Door

Hi,
I am making some rustic framed ledged and braced internal doors using rough sawn softwood for above . Vertical planks are approx 125 x 13mm semi hardwood reclaimed - timber unknown but low moisture content.
Would consider screwing & plugging from frame side but vertical boards too thin. Also boards not T&G . Forsee unsightly fixings and possible board warping. Any comments /ideas/ advice greatly welcomed !
