How to maintain waxed wooden table

by sp_key » Mon Nov 16, 2020 12:18 pm

Hi all,

I have a wooden table (bench style) I bought a few years ago.

The seller, back then, gave me some wax to use occasionally to maintain the table. The wax finished years ago and since we had our little one (4 years ago) I have not used any product to maintain the table.

It now has light scratches, coffee marks and the colour has lost its depth and shine.

Can you please advise. What do I need to do and, are there any products I could use to give it the love it deserves? Pictures of the table attached.

Thanks in advance

Hi sp_key
Suggest you search for bees wax polish and start with the natural finish one. You may have to wash the wood with a soapy solution to reduce the stains but you will never eliminate them completely.
