Door won't open because of skirting board

We have put a new skirting board on. We can't now open or close the door as it will hit the skirting. The door is off the hinges at the moment. Are you able to advise how we can get around this?

Hi housediy
There is little option but to decrease the size of the doorway by fitting fillets to the rebate and door stop on the offending side.

Hi stoney boy,
Thankyou.
In simpler terms can you tell me what you mean by "fillets to the rebate"?
Thankyou

Hi housediy
You need to reduce the size of the opening by fitting pieces of wood to the rebate and the door stop they'll probably need to be something like 35x15mm strips (fillets). You will then have to reduce the width of the door to match.

Hi housediy
The bit where the door fits into is the rebate, the lump that sticks out that the door closes onto is the door stop.
