Repairing a wall and making an access hatch

by jwalker2805 » Wed Feb 24, 2021 10:32 am

We had a new boiler fitted and I need to do a small job to the kitchen wall.

The boiler is in a cupboard but underneath the cupboard the wall needs replaced but I also need access to the pipes behind it. It's just a small part of the wall.

I was wanting to make it look like just part of the wall but also having easy access to it.

I don't want to put in a plastic hatch or anything like that.

Does anyone have any ideas or tips on how I could do this?

I have attached some pictures of the area as well.

Thanks in advance,

Jim.

Hi jwalker2805
Make a lift out ply panel to fit the existing boxing and tile over it to match the existing tiles.
