Name of Height Adjustable Slider?

by Witterings » Fri Jan 12, 2024 12:46 pm

I'm obviously using the wrong wording in my google search as the results I'm getting aren't what I'm looking for and don't know if they have a specific name and anybody knows what they might be called.
I'm looking to make a small platform where one of the ends is height adjustable to change the angle of it.

I've attached a pic that demonstrates my appalling ability to draw :-) but hopefully gives an idea of what I'm trying to do.
It'll be made out of wood and the top plate will be about 210mm long and about 75mm wide, on the left hand side I'll just use a door hinge.
I'm trying to find the name of something on the right hand side that you can loosen a screw and slide it up and down to change the angle of the top plate, it may have to be either curved or hinges at the top of the bottom and the adjustable range of travel about 50 to 100mm,
It'll need to be reasonably sturdy when done up as some pressure will be applied to the top plate.

If anybody knows hat they'd be called / wording I should use in a google search, would be much appreciated.

Hi witterings,
The closest you will get is a spreader bottle screw, a straight adjuster like you illustrate is unlikely to be man enough.
