oil fired central heating

Hi there. Can anyone tell me how to bleed an oil-fired central heating system. I ran out of oil and now the system won't start up again. Is is a job for the professionals or is it easy enough to do it yourself? Any help would be really appreciated, thanks.

Any help would be really appreciated, thanks.[/quote]is it a old boiler and oil line if so you could have a fuel starvation problem drawing sediment through the filter or the injector would block the flow of kerosene
