Hi guys,

Hope you can help!

Boiler: Baxi 100HE
Age: 3 1/2 years
Problem:
Suddenly stopped working, refused to light, and starting dripping water out of bottom of unit.
Boiler repair man diagnosed Heat Exchanger, Ignition PCB and Main PCB (on which the fuse had blown) replacement.
Boiler worked for ten minutes after replacing those parts, and then reverted to same initial problem!

Anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

Probably the fuse on the main PCB has blown again. The fuse would have been replaceable - so why a new PCB ?

Fuses don't normally blow for no reason - the engineer should have checked all parts to see if there is anything that could be blowing the fuse.

Not just throwing parts at the boiler. At your expense.

Maybe the fan is on it's way out - becoming stuck - over heating and blowing the fuse. Same with the pump, there could be many things.

Check the fuse - if that's the problem you need an engineer that knows what he's doing when fault finding - not just a fitter.

For those that might be wondering - turns out that the water drainage pipe was overflowing, shorting out a sensor that in turn took out the flame every time it was lit.

(on a side note, this has been a learning curve on rogue boiler repairs. Spent £600 on parts - none of which were actually needed! Joy...)
