in a outside electric meter box can a consumer unit go in the eletric box or in the inside of the house

Hi Dermo,

It (CU) has to go inside the house I'm afraid, not enough room + People would have access to your electrics that maybe shouldn't. I'd advise getting a sparky on the payroll. :)

Topspark here a consumer unit must always be sited inside the house.If a newbuild then sometimes the consumer unit is sited in the garage
