My boiler is programmed to heat the water only twice a day. During those times the central heating pump comes on as well and pumps water through the rads. The sound of water pumping round the system is very noisy. How do I stop it???

There'll only be one pump and a 3 port valve, check the 3 port valve and actuator - it's probably the actuator that is faulty.

Hi,
5-1 favourite to be the actuator, it always is.
I might move into research on the production of an infallible actuator, what do you think htg engineer, split the profits, there is bound to be some!?
