Just wanted to know, I drained my CH system but only realised now after filling it that one of the rads upstairs i didn't open the weathershield valve (thermostat adjustment on the rad), is it likely that the radiator upstairs would have emptied itself via the otherside so the lockshield valve route when i drained downstairs - my reason for asking is i want to make sure no CH cleaner is in the rad, and my thought is it wouldn't as it would flow out the other side (lockshield valve pipe?, as well as any remaining fluid from the weathershield pipe flowing down)

Both pipes obviously flow up into the rad.

The easiest way to tell is did you open the bleed valve whilst draining down as this would help ensure the rad would empty? Did you need to bleed air out of the radiator after re-filling the system? If not and the radiator never emptied.

What do you mean by "the weathershield pipe"?
