just moved into a new house and noticed on 6 out of the ten radiators - this what I think is the lockshield valve

is this a lockshield valve

this is what is on the right hand side of the radiator - the trv

can someone confirm if this is the lockshield valve

Yes it is, but with the wrong cap.

Why do you need to know? Do you have a problem?

correct, it looks like it has been recently done as well.
