I have been using the Danfoss model for about 2 years now. It has worked perfectly. The sender is located in the loft and the reciever is on the ground floor about 8m below. It only has 1 deg resolution though. The battery lasted 18 months before it needed changing.

I have tried unsuccesfully to locate a seller for this model. Could you please post this information if possible? Also, can it be used on any boiler, and is it difficult to wire at the boiler side?

I got mine off e-bay.
If you google "Danfoss wireless thermostat" you will get a list of suppliers.

Best prog room stat RF is the Honeywell CM927. It is a few generations ahead of the Danfoss in terms of ergonomics and reliability.

I have Danfoss Randall RT52RF these work fine, they are sensitive to a half degree drop, which keeps the room temperature very steady, they are portable and do get moved about depending on which room I am in and where in the room I am working.
