Central Heating has no vent by Hot Water Cylinder

Hi All,
The central heating system in my house is open vented with a conventional boiler. Which is fully pumped. I have replaced a couple of radiators in the past & have had trouble with airlocks while filling the system again.
I have notice I do not have a vent located by the hot water cyclinder in the coil circuit.
Do I need one of these as I also have alot of air running in the system that I can not remove.
For your info, The central heating was put in a few years after the house was built if that helps.
Thanks in advance,
Creeky
