Added rad refusing to heat up

I tee'd into 15mm pipework below the flow and return valves of an existing rad. Because the new rad was to be located in a porch and working space was limited I used 10mm pipe. New rad refuses to give off any heat but I note the following: (1) the rad bleeds ok. (2) When I remove the rad I note that the flow out of the thermostatic valve is appreciably less than the flow on the return side. (3) I have flushed the rad. (4) If I shut down the nearest rad the new rad warms slightly but not to any degree. I would appreciate the views of an expert who can point out where I have gone wrong and perhaps more importantly how I can get the rad on my side.

You must balance the system to forced water into the new rad. Because you have used 10mm pipe, the pressure it the whole system flow needs to be increased.
