I have one downstairs radiator that is cold, the rest of the radiators in the house are hot. We have bled the radiator and it has had no affect. Has anyone any suggestions as to what coul dbe the solution to this problem?
Many thanks in advance, EW

Either the pipes are blocked with sludge or the valves are turned off. If you have a thermostatic valve fitted it may be jammed shut. Remove the head and lightly tap the little pin in the centre of the valve. This may free it. When pressed, it should move up and down about an eighth of an inch.

Hi EW,
It's the valve(s), TRV or normal?
Make sure the pin is up when you take the head off, classic pin stuck syndrome and not enough info.
