Hi, im in the process of putting a new central heating system into my house(pipes and everything) and just picked up the towel rad that im going to be installing in the bathroom. Took the caps off the end just to inspect it and found quite a bit of rust inside and on the thread! Is this normal or should i be getting a refund? Thanks in advance :?

Not unusual to find a little rust deposit on threads, it comes from the water inserted during hydraulic pressure testing by the manufacturer. Any concerns about long term internal corrossion can be eliminated by the use of anti corrossion inhibitor, obtainable from any plumbing supplier.
