Sulphur smell, black smoke, sooty flue

by steveroughan » Thu May 17, 2007 9:18 pm

We have a Worcester Danesmoor 12/14 oil fired boiler, we planned on replacing it when we extend the house later in the year. However we have just started smelling what can only be described as a sulphur smell and today, black smoke etc..
We would be very grateful for any advice on what is going on and if it is on its last legs if it is possible to keep it going for a few more months?????

Thanks
