BUILDING QUOTES

I have had my plans passed by the council for a new build 3 Bed Rm house in Scotland.
I want to send my plans and specs out for quotes.
What should I be writing in the letter when asking for a quote?
Start/end dates, NHBC, Insurance, Cost etc etc. Is there any thing else I should be putting in the letter when asking for a quote?
