Hi,

I have an air vent with closing louvre in my bathroom. It seems to be opened by an elastic band. Can anyone tell me where I might find a replacement as it seems to have stopped working. Its rectangular in shape.

Thanks

Several companies make these things- look it up on the net.
The manufacturers name should be on it somewhere, probably outside.
I recommend getting rid of it and buying and fitting an extractor fan with automatic open/close vent.

and once you've paid the spark to run the additional wiring, fit the isolator outside and an RCD in the consumer unit thats one very expensive alternative elastic band!

Cheers
