Can anyone tell me where I refill this type of boiler / central heating system?

Can this be done by connecting a hose to the radiator drain valve in the kitchen?

You could do - its called back-filling.

I thought that this boiler is a system one - therefore a tank in the loft??

Thanks Steve, there is a small black plastic tank in the loft that is filled with about 6" of cold water?? should it be that low?
