Combined radiator and underfloor heating

Hi,
Can anyone give advice about whether it is possible to have a mixed radiator and underfloor heating (hot water) powered from the same boiler? ie have some rooms that use radiators, and other rooms that have underfloor heating?

Would the system be ok from a control point of view (ie stop the underfloor heated rooms getting hot too quickly)?

Any points to think about?

Thanks...

It is possible to mix, and the underfloor heating will be controlled by thermostats and motorised/zone valve for each underfloor installation.

Any idea if its possible to do it without the motorised valve? I'm not keen on them - one extra point to fail. Thermostatic valves maybe?

You could fit TRV's to the radiators but not to the underfloor heating.

Thanks for the reply - but would that work well? I would guess that the underfloor heated part of the house would heat up fastest, and then would need to be shut off while the radiator part is still heating up? In which case, I'd really want some sort of thermostatic control on the underfloor heating...

I know - I said you could fit TRV's to the radiators (meaning to control radiators only) you will have to fit a thermostat and motorised valve as said in my first post - if you don't want to fit one - forget the underfloor heating.
