Folks

I have a detached house built in 2001, with the original gas central heating system with a Potterton Suprima boiler.
As the four of us are out of the house much of the time, the heating and water are usually on between 6.30am - 8.30 am and then 6.30 pm - 9.30 pm.
The boiler is the only gas installation in the house, but we are averaging about 95 quid a month - the readings going up like 12701183 - 12702411 each day (1228).

Only 3 quid a day I appreciate, but does that sound right to the people who know?

You are using more than an "average" amount of gas. When was the boiler last serviced?

Cheers

Thanks - had it serviced only two weeks ago.
I'll take a reading now and then same time tomorrow and see what the reading is just in case the servicing and replacement of board has improved things

Thats nearly 14,000 units in 48 hours or the best part of 7 x what you were using previously. Something is wrong IMHO. Get the guy back who did the service and tell him to find out whats going on.

Cheers
