Glow Worm ultracom 38cxi

Hello, can any body give me information on how the 38cxi operates on heating as i am not sure if my boiler is faulty.
The heating heats up to s.p then once it gets two degrees over s.p the burner switches off and only circulates water for 5 or 6 minutes radiators get luke warm then boiler fires up again.
