Hi,

I have left my flat empty for a few days over the holidays, with the central heating fully off. I saw the weather forecast for the next few days, and it's going to stay 0 to -5 most of the time. I'm worried that the water pipes will freeze and burst in my absence. Is this likely to happen?

I don't have anyone to go to my flat to turn the heating & water taps on for a few minutes..

Leave the heating on low. As a plumber/heating engineer ive been to four call outs today with frozen pipes inside properties.
