running an underfloor heating system

hi all
I have a wet underfloor heating on both levels of my house, downstairs under concrete and upstairs under wood. I am wondering what is the best way to run the systems. some say 24hrs a day and others say leave it on a timer. recently i have been running it 24hrs a day and although the house is warm the boiler never seems to be off. there is a "all day" select on the time clock and i was wondering if i should run it on this setting as running it all night seems a waste, but does the system have to work alot harder in the morning to warm everything back up? which way is the most economical and benificial? :x
