Hi, im in the process of modernising my house and i'm considering installing underfloor heating. The house was built with concrete floors and i dont know if i would be able to install the pipes for wet UFH or the mat for electric directly on top of the concrete or would i have to add insulation and another screed or dig into the floor.

I'm planning to cover the floor with tiles, any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

funkyfresh,
If you can accept raising the floor level by about 75mm then yes you can add either but electric UFH is expensive to run.
