When an old gravity fed boiler is replaced by a condensing boiler, does the building regs state that all existing radiators must all have a trv valve fitted to them.I would personally recommend that they were fitted. Obviously i would fit them to a new complete refit.

Part L of building regs require all rads to have TRV's except one, in which area there should be a room stat to prevent boiler cycling once all areas up to temp.
not sure if this applies to refurbs or only new installs though.
I am sure some one will soon say!
