Hi All,

1st time here but have for the 2nd time now in several months had the situation where our house electrics blow for no reason.
Each time the only way to reset the overall RCD is to remove the Fuse (yes old fashion fuse box) that feeds power to the boiler.

It has a Type 407676 controller and was thinking maybe this is the cause of the issue ?

If the boiler is left for 30-60 mins everything comes back to life and runs no problems.

I will call a guy to service the boiler as it is prob well overdue.

I am capable of fundamental testing with a multimeter but am no heating engineer.

I was think it might be the pump or the control value but believe they all run on other circuits.

Could be anything really, intermittent problems are the worst.

However I would check the pump, especially pump valves, any signs of leaks - may be getting onto electrics. The pump may also be sticking, and overheating.
