Hi all, I've just bought a property with the above titled system fitted in the property...Do I have to leave the hot water system's Gas on constantly or will it automatically fire up once a tap is opened to obtain hot water? If yes, will this prove costly...?

Also, I've heard that the hot water is kept heated in a tank...is this true?
