Glowworm 24cxi Hot Water Supply Problem

I have a Glowworm 24cxi boiler which heats the hot water when the heating is switched off but there is no hot water available when the heating mode is switched on (heating works ok). There is no pressure reading when opening a hot tap in the heating mode but there is when in hot water mode only. I have checked the diverter valve motor and this seems to work ok. I suspect the problem may be with the flow sensor - any ideas?
