We are about to do some redecorating which includes installing New Radiators. I have noticed recently that in many New Homes and Public Buildings that the radiators are piped Top In and Bottom Out [or vice versa i'm not sure] is this the New way of installing Rad and is it better than Bottom In Botton Out method? I can do either when I fit the new rads so which is best?

I can't agree that you will see this way of installation in new homes as it is an old and outdated method. Having a connection to the top of the radiator is unsightly and will not improve the performance of the radiator in a fully pumped system.

Best to leave the connections as they are.
