Upside down underfloor heating mats????

Hi all, this could be a very stupid question but here goes......
I'm about to lay an electric undertile heating system (matting). The instruction leaflet and all the clips I've seen on Youtube suggest that the matting should be laid with the mesh at the bottom and the cable on top (i.e. you would then tile onto the cable). Is it a problem to do it the other way round? Reason for asking is that the roll of matting I have would roll out naturally with the cable on the bottom but not so easily with the cable on the top.
Hopefully that made sense......
