New Worcester Combi Boiler and Mixer Shower is Stone Cold on Normal Setting?

Advice would be really appreciated please.
Until April, we had a cabin shower with a mixer tap and a 35 year old Worcester Combi boiler. Everything worked fine. Then the boiler packed in and we had it replaced with a Worcester-Bosch Greenstar 24i Junior. Since then after a couple of minutes, the water goes ice cold. If we turn it right onto the hot water, that works fine - it is the mixing with the cold water that is the problem.
We asked the shower supplier and he said we needed a pressure equalising valve. We bought one from him and had it fitted. It has made no difference.
Does anyone have any ideas as to the reason and any suggestions for a solution as I am still not used to the ice cold shower rinse cycle?
Many thanks
Paul
