Replacing a Thermostat and Need some Advice on Wiring up

Hi all

I am looking at replacing my thermostat. Currently it is a battery powered unit with a simple operation - there are two wires ... connect for heat - break to turn off. I am seeing a lot of thermostats that look very different on the front but on the back all seem to be the same (marked H3 with terminals N1, N, L and L1 - some also have a sensor pair). Looks like this

So - I believe that the two existing wires go to N1 and L1 (also marked "LOAD") and that I will need to get a 240 AC supply to fit to N/L.

Does this sound right or am I missing something here.? The heater is not that old (maybe 3 years or so) but everything I am finding when I search seems to have 3, 4 and even 5 wires coming from the heater and not the simple two that have...

Thanks for looking
