I have an oil-fired boiler installed in the garage. The flue extends out of the rear garage wall to the outside and then up the outside wall to roof level.
The outside section of the flue needs replacing with a 6" twin wall flue pipe.
Can I legally do this myself?
I have been quote £1,258 for parts and £278 labour for this job, which seems a bit steep to me given that the total length of the new section of flue is no more than 4m.
Any insights would be appreciated.
