Moving Gas to Oil and What Change in Control?

My gas boiler modulates, so main control is the thermostatic radiator valve (TRV) of which 4 are electronic, so boiler varies between 6 kW and 28 kW output depending on return water temperature. The wall thermostats only job is to stop cycling as summer approaches.
Moving house and new house is oil boiler and even when a modulating boiler is fitted the amount of modulation is laughable typical 15 kW to 20 kW hardly worth bothering, so hot water tank for domestic hot water, and boiler uses a mark/space ratio to adjust output.
So do I bother taking my existing eTRV heads with me? Would it be better to move from Energenie to EvoHome the latter which uses as standard mark/space ratio control?
