Potterton Boiler Banging When Switched on - Please Needed

Hi guys
I've been having an issue with my potterton powermax he combi boiler for the last few days and nobody seems to know what it is.
It was working great until I came back one day to find the radiators cold and the boiler making a constant ticking/banging noise, even when the central heating and hot water are switched off.
I now have no central heating but it heats the water up just fine. As soon as I turn the power on the noise starts immediately. Its holding pressure and no error codes.
Any ideas?
