Combi Boiler Flooding When Ever Hot Water Running

by jwilde8464 » Tue Apr 07, 2020 5:24 pm

Before I start, I am aware that this work should only be done by someone qualified, however due to the COVID lockdown no one is willing to come and sort it out.

So the problem we are facing is that the combi boiler keeps flooding whenever the hot water is running. I've opened it up (after been told that no engineers etc will be able to come due to the COVID lockdown (even though no one in the house has symptoms and we have a small child)). On inspection the water seems to be coming out of the bottom of one of the flexible pipes.

On the image it is the left hand flexible pipe coming out of the light brown illustrated box.

Has anyone experienced this? And would this be potentially a simple fix?
