Cold radiators, bled them replaced one, still cold

Hoping someone can help. We have a detached property built around 1997, there are 9 radiators, 3 of which are not heating up. I’ve bled them all, drained the system and removed and flushed one out (upstairs bedroom) lots of black sludgy water. I reattached it and still not working so I’ve replaced it with a brand new radiator, still no joy.

It’s getting water through it (bleeds fine) but no heat at all. Anyone come across anything similar?

Hi dwalsh87,
You have an airlock in the pipes feeding the 3 radiators. Try shutting down all working radiators and see if that will shift it.

Bleed it twice, once with lock shield off, and once with TRV off so sure both feed and return pipes free of air or blockage.

Thanks for the replies, I’ll give them both a try at the weekend and let you know how I get on. If I’ve already full drained the system, is it still possible there is a airlock in there somewhere?
