Musty in disabled son's cellar bedroom

Hi all. Had the cellar adapted by the council for our wheelchair bound 21 year old son. Unfortunately could only do 1 room and a wetroom due to the very pricey quotes! I have split the front cellar room into my workshop and my son's bedroom which is stud walls and insulated, but has no external wall. The room smells musty and we have put a moisture absorber device in his room due to some of his clothes getting mouldy and it has filled up pretty quickly. Looking for a way of getting some fresh air in and would like some advice on to what people would recommend? Many thanks in advance, Daf

Hi Cochin,
Suggest you fit a heat recovery extract fan (yes they are expensive) and ventilate to fresh air. You may need to get a dehumidifier as well
